Default Performance Anxiety

So here's the issue... I really want an xB, but I know that I would get sick of 108hp after a month. Engine swaps are more or less out of the question, so...

Does anyone have an idea of 0-60, 1/4 mile and hp #'s for an xB with;
Cold air intake
Turbo
Headers
Exhaust
and possibly intercooler.

Much obliged.

Do a search, there's plenty of discussion on this topic. You might get around a 60 hp increase with a small turbo for around 2000 dollars. Not bad but not good enough if you're a fast and furious tuner boi from california.

I have searched, and I find forums that address either turbos or exhaust or intakes, but never the complete package. I'm no "tuner boi"... just a guy who wants respectable acceleration off the line and passing.

if your concerned with your cars 1/4mile time , 0-60, etc... i dont think the xB is for you
if one was willing to spend all hte money on a turbo, headers etc...you might as well start with a car with a stronger engine...
the xB creators obviously dindt have performance in mind i dont hink it should be made into a performance car...my opinion though
you most likely wontget tired of its low performance if its just an every day car but if you want it for racing...it probably wouldnt be quick enough to beat the annoying kid on the bike who lives down the street

Maybe I should clarify what I am looking for;

I love the styling of the xB, but would not be satisfied with the performance in the long run. I DO NOT WANT TO RACE. The numbers are purely for reference.

To summarize, I want the style of an xB and the power to actually pass someone on the highway. Not necessarialy 200+ hp, but at least 130-160hp.

With all that I'd be guessing around 16.0 for the 1/4mi, give or take half a second? I dunno, it depends on auto or manual and driving skill.

to get respectable power and such a turbo really isnt needed it'd just be nice. dude passing is easy i have no probs i can beat alot of cars racing too surprisingly tho. i have intake , header , and full exhaust. i'm going to add a voltage stabalizer, ground kit , and iridium plugs , and lets see.......hmmm.... a lightened crank pulley /underdrive? and in the future i will get the blitz s/c kit.

if you don't want to race, there is no need for all those upgrades.

the xa's and xb's have more than enough power to pass if you're willing to downshift and open yer throttle more.

Just get a manual. If your willing to make it wail, you can move along quick enough. I may just get a CAI for a little extra power.

The manual is great for it's quickness so I don't see that you would have a problem. I have an automatic and have no problem passing even at 80 on the hwy - just have to press the gas pedal a little more.
