The other day I noticed my drivers seat moved when taking a corner. It felt like the seat was not all the way in place and made the small movement into the railing. A day or so later the same thing happened.

Well last night I had a full car (4 of us riding out) and the same thing happened again. ____ed off I had my brother check out the seat as now I figured out just by moving my weight forward on the seat the side closest to the e-brake rocks back and forth. After looking closely we're guessing there is a problem with the seat connection at the railing.

Anyone else notice this with their xB? I moved the seat up a little just to see if it only happens when fully back on the rail. The "rocking" in my drivers seat happens at any seat position on the railing. Is there a TSB for this? Can some of you check your seats to see if you have this problem as well? the passenger seat seems to be fine as my g/f tried to move it like I did the drivers. I'm going to get another look now that it's light outside and also check the passenger seat.

Here is a vid I just took using my digital camera. You can hear the seat rocking as I push on the back of the chair. I am pushing at the bag clip location. Something is definitely wrong with my drivers seat.........

I am not using very much pressure at all. Just a small nudge and the seat moves back and forth.

Hey I kinda have the same problem but my seat doesnt move when I'm taking a turn. I notice some kind of movement when I'm just sitting in the seat and driving. Like if I move a certain wait it seems like the seat isnt fully bolted in. It's really hard to explain but it moves a little when I'm sitting. I havent noticed anything like what your saying but I'll check it out today.

I noticed that i have a slight movement in my seat stopping and starting. I had the dealer check it out, and he said that some movement is considered normal.

Thanks!

My Box is at the stealership right now getting the gauge cluster rattle, steering wheel alignement, and the rocking seat looked at.

When showing the tech my seat he stated, "The drivers seat is designed to have a little movement".

Can you guys check your seats like in the vid above?

Thanks!

Yeah I just check mine (both front seats). It does that. I think the reason is everytime you get sit down there's several adjustments the driver has to make to sit comfortably. If there's not that movement, then there's too much tension and the seat over time will break. :? I thought the seat tracks (move closer to the wheel or farther adjustments) were giving you a problem. If it was the seat tracks then that would have been a NHTSA issue.
