ive been thinking since awhile back... what if u cut the divider between the two grills on the front of the xb sou have a huge air dam? anyone have pics?

what is involved in doing this process? is there anything behind tat plate or is it strictly for aerodynamics?

 

I always thought that would be pretty kool to get rid of that middle bar. Definitly something I would do if I had a box. I believe behind that bar is where the steel bumper is and the foam cushioning for the bumper cover. U'll need to cut that bar out n use fiberglass n some bondo to smooth out the edges to match the rest of the grill opening. U might be able to mold in another peice of the facotry grill so it looks stock or use something custom made. Then ur gonna need to trim out most of that foam n hit that steel bumper with some black paint. N of course respray the bumper. Its a fun lil project n I think the end result is worth it. I definitly recommend gettin another from bumper cover to do this on so ur not stuck with a messed up frontend just incase.

 

already in the works with a custom grill, dont want to give to many details, but it will look way better then that first one, that just looks like a hack job

 

Not sure I like it on mine, but you know, it's different...which is why I love our "B"s to start with. No two are alike...
