I just got an 08 & am just wondering if parts are for all years or year specific.

 

some are, most aren't.

05's don't have steering wheel audio controls.

06 and on have rotary ***** for volume on the radio

07-08 have different MAF sensors so you have to get an 07-08 specific intake or supercharger for them.

08 tc's have different headlights, tailights, and grills, and i think a stealth sub in the trunk.

also, the 08's have an adaptor for the upgraded indash navigation availiable from scion now.

that is about it i think...

 

FWIW, the 08 tails fit the previous years perfectly and the 08 headlights also fit but use different bulbs than the previous years.

engine parts for '07-'08 may differ.. as mentioned... different MAF, but also a different engine manifold/header.

exhausts should still fit, and any exterior body stuff are the same.

 

HVAC module between the 07-08 are the same, but different from the 05-06, just to add to the list.

 

Sure on this? Ideas on where the head/taillights are available? Haven't found any yet.. and my dealership knows nothing
