Default So i'm about to go f/i have some quick q's?

planning on getting a treadstone kit and using the treadstone downpipe that is already on there with stock midpipe and s-pipe i was wondering if i should change my trd exhaust that i have one there or upgrade to something else? or should i just upgrade my entire exhaust system to a nice 3" exhaust all the way through?

Also i'm wondering does anyone know how far a motor would go w/ a turbo on about 7-8 psi w/ regular maintenance (oil changes, tranny fluids and stuff like that ?) car now has about 21,000 miles on it so i'm just wondering : moderate driver not too harsh on it been to the track twice

Also would my stock clutch be able to hold up to somwhere around 250 whp around 7-8 pounds? thanks

you probably don't need a 3" exhaust, although I wouldn't keep the stock one either. Your basically choking your turbo by keeping a stock exhaust. Get something like a 2.5" turbo back exhaust. should run nice.

Exactly! I have one for sell to, but its a pain to ship! Hit up Paul @ Dezod. There exhaust sounds great, completely easy install!

also, your going to need a new clutch, not right away, but it will wear out pretty quick.

also, do exhaust before you tune your turbo. if you tune, and then do exhaust, you'll get boost creep and you'll exceed your normal 7-8 psi settings because of the increased efficiency of the turbo.

most stage 1 kits require an upgrade to a stage 3 clutch.

^^ you are right.

but You should do some motor work before you install your kit because later down the line you will need to do it anyway. that's my opinion

Well if u decide to go turbo in the future don't go with a whole 3" exhaust if ur not pushing 350+whp because all u will do then is loose back pressure which will harm ur performance. I have 272whp @ 7psi and stock 2.25 pipe straight thru with no resonator. 3" is for massive WHP u don't need it for 250whp.
