How would you get nite shades off of your tail lights?

I want to put overlay's on... how would everyone recommend getting the nite shade off of the lights?

i was thinking that but you'd have to sand a lot and then use a really high grit to get it shiny again?

a little lacquer thinner on a clean lint free cloth will take it off

i think u will need to get it prepped for clear coat. Cheaper to just buy a used set of tails

i think what o5trdtc is saying is dat once u wet sand it, it will be a dull finish so you'd need to re clear coat it to ge tthe gloss then overlay them. i suggest getting another pair of tails as well.

Ok well it looks like they will stay with nite shade! I don't need to spend the money to do that. I'll just work on them a bit to try to get the gloss finish I want. Thanks guys.

trade someone who wants tinted tails. or sell em use the money to buy more!
