MY NEW PICK UPS ,, THAT MAKE MY CAR GO BOOOOM BOOOM BOOM LOL
Whats up sl? well im in the process of makeing my system which consist of 2 alpine 10" type R subs and an alpine amp. anyone know if its mandatory to remove all the seats to wire the system up?

you dont need to remove much to get your wires ran.
Most of the stuff is very easy to remove.
The only major part you need to remove totally is the bottom of the rear seat (thats if you are planning on running some wires or an mp back there.)
Its very easy. Just pull up from the middle of the seat

just take out the lower part of the back seat, where you put you butt down on by pulling it up and then you can run the wires through there easily and into the side panel where the rear speakers are. i believe vin diesel has 2 alpine type-S, those type-R's where in there rx-7 in tokyo drift.
If you are running wires from battery to amp it is easiest and clean to pull driver seat and run all wires through the frame cross bracing there are holes and everything under there.......then pull back seat bottom and pull back the wires fro speakers to sides and run back into doors........there is not a lot of room for the power wire and speaker wires inthe door jamb.

i go boomPersonally, I prefer acoustical bass, more in line with the music and accurate reproduction... but you can't beat L7's with a stick when it comes to boom.
If I were to go SPL, it would be with 2 RE XXX's or something along those lines, but kicker's put out a LOT

GL retro with the Type-R's, they're not bad subs, though I think Alpine's expertise is in amps and head units, but still, nice nice
