Does the sirius text scroll with this stereo... on the 2006 stereo, it does not.... what about the new ones?

it depends on which Sirius module you use, not the head unit.

I've only seen one Sirius unit for the premium head unit. Where have you seen others?

I have the TOY-SC1. It is going to be released to the public next month. It has a dip switch on the side of the module to turn scrolling on/off. Google it and you will find information on it.

I googled it, and got really excited when I saw it only cost $130. Then I saw that it doesn't include a tuner.

The tuner you get from Scion is only good for 10 characters... Very frustrating. Like bigpapa said, the one to go with is the TOY-SC1. You will also need the SC-C1 if remember correctly.

Good luck on the install. It isn't that bad at all.
