ok, so i took the stock intake resonator out and pluged it. it was whatever, and then i saw this really really cheap air filter for 5 bucks, and i tried installing it in replace of the plug, but it wasnt a perfect fit but i managed to tighten the clamp. It was ok for a day or two. UNTIL one day i was on the freeway. car felt really funny, made a lotta noise when i hit the gas but didnt go as well. then and there i knew the filter fell off. as i exit the freeway all these lights start going off and my car automatically shut off. im like CRAP! i prayed my cars ok but sure enough, the filter was off on the bottom somehwere.
luckily i stopped at a Mobil and they had a screwdriver for me. i pluged it back with my plug and i was good to go. Phew!

lesson learned. dont buy ___ crap.
