Yeah I did mine last month. It's basically an oil change and a tire rotation. They should also check your brakes, but that is usually done as part of the tire rotation. I used a free oil change coupon for the oil change part of it and they charged me $30 for the tire rotation and brake inspection. All of the maintenances are described in the back of the manual. There's also a spot for them to put a stamp so when you sell the car you have proof that it was taken care of. Hope that helps.

im pretty sure that if your maintenance required light comes on, its just a reminder to change your oil. In the book i think it says something about that light comming on every 4200 miles or so. Just a reminder, you can reset it yourself.

does the light only come on for the tc.I had a little over 7200 miles on it last week when I went in for my second oil change and they did tell me that I was due for the 5k maintenance.so I had the oil changed and the maintenance service done for $50 and some change....................

i got it done and they did rotate tires and checked the brakes but they didn't charge me for anything... :D think it varies from dealer to dealer... which reminds me, next oil change is come'n up quick

5000 mile is what everyone else said, basically oil change, tire rotation, and visual inspections. It takes about 30 minutes if there's no line.

It's just an oil change, tire rotation, and visual brake inspection per the maintenance guide. That's all you need. Don't let the dealer try to sell you on some over-priced (i.e., profitable) maintenance package - my dealer has a $125 package (which includes all the special operating condition maintenance) they're pushing.

Note that 2004 and 2005 Scions have different maintenance schedules. If you don't feel like getting them out from your glovebox you can download them here:
