Default Automatic with mods vs. Manual stock

Ok so who would win in a short race, an Automatic 07 Tc wit Fujita CAI, megan headers, megan midpipe, megan oe-rs exhaust VS. a 06 Manual Tc stock. If i added pulleys to the auto would it help it win?

if the person driving the stick is anything better than decent at it, they will beat you.

So you started a thread about this "who would win" thing. Does it really matter?

Look man its simple....you can have two of the following

Cheap, fast and reliable......

You can only pick two and you might want to choose wisely.

If you wanted a sports car, you don't buy a tC. If you wanted a sports car you don't get an automatic.

You sacrifice reliability when you start doing things the car was not intended to do but to each his own. Remember your car was meant to be under $20k not under 11sec in the 1/4 mile.

I answered your question bro.

I don't know what you mean by cheap.....for about $750 total you can get the Zex tC nitrous kit with the purge kit.

However, if you act like a fool with it some bad things could happen.

That kit can increase hp/torque for an instant; the kit is capable of 55/65/75whp adjustable jets. 55/65 would be the best options though to decrease strain on the motor.

That's about all without dumping a couple grand on a supercharger or a few grand on a turbo.

You can always invest in decals.....the more decals you add the faster you go.

do you just troll the boards looking for excuses to say how slow a tC is? seriously. Thats all I ever see from your posts. You're never remotely informative or helpful. period. The OP didn't askabout any other cars out there yet your smart @$$ had to chime in. I know the tC is slow and i never said it wasn't.

once again - at one point did i EVER say my tC was fast?

oh and diego - as far as not going FI..the only other option you have is pulleys which aren't going to hardly help at all. Yuu're at a point where there isn't a whole lot of "cheap" options left..the cheapest would be nitrous but eh...lol i'm a little iffy on that stuff
