yeah than theres not much u can do. I have intakes/exhaust and thats all u can pretty much do, to a n/a except headers, yet its minimal power just sounds better. and plus you dont need 2 be going faster than the tC goes if ur not racing on a track neway.

You have an automatic. You will be slow no matter what you do to the car. Boosting an automatic is stupid. Just make your car look nice.

auto or manual, who cares, if you put the right amount of work in any car the right way, weteher it be a tc or a ford taurus. It can be quick. this scion community was built for people to come together because the love of your car. who gives a ____ whos faster than who, if your car is fast enough for you, and you only, thats all that matters.if you love your car, good for you, if you worry about being as fast as the other guy, you got your car for the wrong reasons. any of us could have got an evo..or a wrx, or a rx-8., but we didnt we got tc's, and why, cheap, reliable and pretty quick if you know what your doing, besides its a nice ___ looking car and its easy to modify and make one of a kind. Be a dick and go buy an evo thats the same as the evo next to you. or be original and do things the way you want to,

i was driving my tc all i have is injen intake so basically stock vs a auto tc i/h/e pulleys grounding kit and intake manifold I dunno what he was putting top the ground but i beat him by about 1 car from a 0-100

There's a hella lot of turboed mustangs running autos.

benefits of a auto tranny
-constant boost
-no mis-shifting for the casual driver who might run at a track a couple times a year.
-great for daily driving in places like Chicago, Cleveland, etc.


The only thing bad about it is that there is more power loss through the auto tranny and that they are a bit weaker. Which is why...

This united in individuality stuff is starting to get really annoying. Cause every evo around the way is the same? Cause you cant customize an evo the way you want to and make it your own like the tc? You can say that for any car, and any person who was pride in their car and customize it the way he/she wants. Or can leave it stock. Whatever, the tc doesnt make itself different than any other car brand just cause you can make it your own. Technically any car can do that. The only reason people buy tc's cause its cheap and cheap to "make your own".

a stock MT 06 tc will beat a fully bolted on 06 auto tc


a STOCK 08 MT tc will SMOKE a bolted auto 06...

i have done plenty of R&D on this

I don't know what you mean by cheap.....for about $750 total you can get the Zex tC nitrous kit with the purge kit.

However, if you act like a fool with it some bad things could happen.

That kit can increase hp/torque for an instant; the kit is capable of 55/65/75whp adjustable jets. 55/65 would be the best options though to decrease strain on the motor.

That's about all without dumping a couple grand on a supercharger or a few grand on a turbo.

You can always invest in decals.....the more decals you add the faster you go.
+1. I just bought this kit not too long ago. Just recently purchased the purge kit for it to and am about to drop it in. Got a good deal on it too. Only $600 for the kit, and another $130 for the purge kit! =D Good, cheap... and makes the car a bit faster. But bare in mind a few things... It's nitrous. Depending on your setup, is how you determine how you would like it to be adjusted. I'm stickin with just the 55 shot to be "safer". Nitrous and safe... now that's an oximoron

if you do trans work to the auto it will be faster than a 5 speed. Get a valve body upgrade from ipt trans if you want to put more power to the ground, or a torque converter. People hate on auto's, but theyre not that bad. If your stuck with one (like me) you might as well make some 5speeds look like _______s.

I thik its like 850 for a valve body upgrade if you send it out to ipt trans in new jersey. Or you could do a leven ten build. Theyre expensive and i trust IPT. They did my friends tC a lot cheaper than level ten would and he'll hold over 600whp.
