its been pretty crappy in nj the past few days and i noticed my tail light seems to have a lil water behind the clear cover... but im not sure if its actually in the light housing or just between the housing and the cover. but what really worries me is the fact that the temp is dropping around here and im a lil worried that the water will become ice and ruin the tail lights...cracking or snapping... . should i be worried?

No, you shouldn't. The riged edge of the tail light housing is separated from the actual lights and the ABS plastic it's made of can flex a bit.

Mine always gets water in them, even the first time I washed it just a couple days after I got it. Kinda ____ed/____ing me off.

Do not be worried... all modern American lighting must pass strict DOT testing to be allowed... even cheap replacement lenses. One of the tests includes moisture build-up. The lenses I have seen dismounted include a little "breathing tube" to allow moisture to evaporate. Your tail lights will be fine. I few drops are normal. :D RPM

The water is not in your actual tail light housing. There's a slight lip on the lens that fills out the space. The space under the lip is sealed off from the actual light reflectorr/housing by a lot of glue and an interlocking piece of plastic.

This is notorious with all xB- the water dosent evaporate as fast in the winter- but dont worry, It got down to 6 degrees last night here and no probs with mine.

The water is not building up in the housing- it is building up in the gap before the housing is sealed. as long as the actual housing - were the bulbs are located- is not fogging up -your ok...
