Default Props to the scion suspension

So i was driving to work today like i normally do. There is a turn on a back road which is pretty good, but you can still take it at like 60 and be fine. I see this truck (lifted redneck mobile) barreling its way towards me and it begins to take the turn as i do. All of sudden, fishtail and here come the bed of the truck towards my face. I react like every other person who has seen Tokyo Drift and jam the break, turn right, slight tug on the ebrake, then turn left to steady out. I avoided almost certain death because anyway I envisioned hitting him, it ended with me flipping (had an open sunroof) or my roof being taken off.

All i wanna say is that I am lowered on H-Techs, but everything is stock. The car performed like it should. Very smooth "drift" (i mean drift is a fancy name for swurving anyway) and all in all I didnt crash.

I do have a pebble embedded in my windsheild now, but that can be fixed eventually.

RANT: I hate people that cant control their cars and put other people live in danger!

Remember that as you are driving to always be paying attention as this may happen to anyone, i just got lucky today i guess.

Good to see that you made it out okay, but curiosity is asking what happened to the truck? Did the truck crash? Did the driver get a ticket from a cop? Did you get the license plate from the truck so that you could report that dangerous driver?

About the pebble... it's stuck in your windshield? Or did it just put a fat chip or crack into your windshield?

Anyways, good to see that you're okay and that the car is relatively fine.

he was coming at me so i didnt get a license plate number, and he didnt crash, he evened out as well. There was no cops (per usual).

the pebble is still in the window. It went through the first layer of class because there is a very small hole on the windshield but no texture to it if that makes sense. when you are inside the car looking at it, you can see the pebble, so it must have hit so hard it penetrated the first layer of glass.

any options for that.

ill have pics in the morning in case you want to see.

Power slide!!!!!!
Good to hear your ok. As for the windsheild I had something similar happen and if u take it to a glass shop they will contact yur insurance and they will pay for it no deductable.
I guess they figure fixing it for u is cheaper than letting it get worse and possibly effect yur safety.
It's worth a try.

Except he might have a gun and shoot you in the face instead. You NEVER know!

Much better idea than possibly getting shot.
