Do all of our boxes' (stock) tail lights wick water underneath the edge of the lens covers, and might this promote future problems (discoloration?) When I noticed it, I stopped by the dealer's, and they are perplexed and intrigued. Although there hasn't been a complaint, so far, we got curious and took a walk around the lot and noticed other Xbs with the same ammount of moisture under the edges of the tail lights. We could make the trapped water move around by pressing gently on the edges of the lenses. We made a note and they want to look into it. I am curious to know if the higher dollar lenses suffer from this same type of cappilary activity. It's probably nothing, but I just wondered if anyone else (with the standard refrigerator light cover lenses) noticed this effect?

i asked the same question around here not too long ago, i live in jersey so i was worried about that water freezing and possibly damaging the lens cover.... but everyone assured me it is all good....

i have the same problem but when i looked at the lights it actually shouldn't be a problem because that isn't where the edge is anyway or the seal whatever you want to call it sorry it still morning

With the thin layer of paint these boxes have, I would be concerned about rust in the future if you're in the snowbelt. I did notice the same with the Helix lights too. :?
