Default Noob info on spring rates

I'm a pretty big noob when it comes to modifying, soo when it came to look for springs, I hear people talking about spring rates(wich I have no idea about) as being an important factor in choosing springs, because it will determine the ride quality of your car. Soo I dug around for info on spring rates & while most are difficult to read especially to a mechanicaly disabled person like me , I found this one wich is pretty straight forward and simple. Hopefully this will help some other noob's out there wondering about this subject also.
