Default Supercharger Warranty only 1yr/12000miles

I was under the impression my sc had a 3yr /36000m warranty....why not? I seen it advertised everywhere!!!! That's only the case on a new car leaving the dealer with the sc........I realized after a slight oil leak from the seal where the shaft goes in I contacted the dealer and they informed me I was over the warranty by 5000miles. I was disappointed to the fact I only had a 12000mile warranty. The service manager said ' if it's just the seal...and no big deal, he would do it for nothing" We'll see how that goes! My motor mounts are shot to....they are still covered THANK GOD! He's gonna do that also...and a complete look over the whole car since I don't service regularly......who can afford that? I bet I walk out at least $400.00 lighter in my pocket.....At Least!.......I'll let yas know what happens. I hate the dealer $$$$$

My sc warranty card says 12 months or extended to the end of the orignal power train warranty......I bought it certified pre-owned with the extended 5yr/100,000mile warranty.......by the way cost about $2000.00. I'm wondering if the original power train warranty is 3yr/36000mile no matter what????

If you have the dealer install the supercharger, the warranty will be 1 yr/12k miles or for the remainder of your powertrain warranty... which ever is longer.

If ANYONE else installs it, you only get the 1 yr/12k miles. Just like ANY TRD part.

If you got the extended warranty through the dealer, I believe it should follow that as well.
