hey paul I have a couple of questions for ya

whats the benefit of upgrading to ball bearing turbo vs not doing so?

also is the only difference in running a catted vs a catless downpipe just mean the exhaust is going to be a little quieter and less free flowing?

lol I told myself I don't I would ever go turbo because I'm an auto but I got bit by the bug again so next summer we shall see...

BB will help decrease spool up by 300-500 RPMS. Other than that, you will not notice any other benefits. For a street car, I would recommend just going with a standard journal bearing. (truth be told)

Catted downpipe will obviously be more of a restriction than a catless downpipe. The catted downpipe will also produce approx 5-8whp less than a catless.

Hope this helps!

how is the noise difference between the catted and uncatted? Its not carb legal anyway so would anybody go w/ the catted? Doesnt sound like anybody would want to.

You can manipulate the pipes in and out of the couplers for perfect fit. Remember, the intake pipe is not pressurized, so you have some freedom on placement in the coupler so long as it's clamped well.

Noise difference is very minimal truthfully.
