Default Road Course School 8/9/09 *Vidz* Turbo tC 255 R-Comps

You know it was wet at first, and I loved it. I haven't been on a race track in the rain before.

I ran with the school during the first part of the day just for giggles. It turned out to be a nice way to warm up. After that I was able to run in 2 open track heats until my turbo started to giving me warning signs of an impending failure.

R.I.P. Turbonetics Turbo, my first Turbo love!

For your viewing pleasure!

NA tC tearin' it up! It was his first time road coursing and he caught on fast!

Yeah, next year hopefully I'll get to give that a chance.

Oh, btw... turns out the turbonetics turbo is still kicking! I jumped the gun when I thought it was toast after I blew a charge pipe off the compressor. Oil everywhere! That oil must have been building up in the charge pipes for a long time.

I've put ~ 1000 miles on the tC since then and she seems fine. I just finished AutoXn her today and oil consumption is minimal!

The vette was on some really crappy street tires. Given a driver & tire change it would have been interesting. I was eating him alive in the twisties!
