front end mask for road trips only

Hey I got a white TC and I wanted to take it on road trips. On a white car, I dont see too much need to do clear bra but do you think the factory front end mask would be useful?

I've heard form someone on here tha the front end caused their tc's front lower and upper hood to start fading, including showing some swirl marks. It may be just them, or maybe its the factory bra, who knows.
