Default anyone have this rear bumper protector?

found on trdsparks site:

http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=3251

i like this one better than the one you can choose from the stealership since it seems like it would protect more of the bumper. anyone have it and have any comments? is it easy to self install?

Mine is on the way...
I bought it because it is thicker and goes over the edge of the bumper for more protection. It installs with 3M tape so yes its an easy install.

Its basically a stick on application but it is SOLID plastic. I believe bushwhacker makes one similar to it! The Lip goes down over the back bumper giving better coverage!! If Ya call TRD sparks.com ask for Tim or Jamie!!!!

a solid black bumper protector. got mine from a long time ago and has been great... I used it a lot during the winter season as a stool to put on my snowboarding boots. protects really well. installation was cake... it's just 3 rows of 3M double sided tape on the bottom. all you got to do is line it up center and stick it on!!

kuma thanks for the pic. i'm pretty much sold on it now, looks way better than the "applique" from the stealership which we all know is just a facy word for "sticker". i'll probably mess up the installation by not centering it exactly haha we'll see. i'm still getting my xb list together; i'm glad i asked about this before placing my order.

you can use a measuring tape and Painters tape to determine exact center!! Thats how I did my sharkfin!! and line the sides with small strips of painter tape before applying !

well seeing how my rumion one is all scuffed up, yea these things work. and seeing that this one goes over the edge of the bumper a little, looks like this will take some abuse.

yeah. the day i brought the xB home some little sticky handed Brat put his handlebar into my bumper. leaving a little gouge in it. the mom just laughed and said "Oh, sorry! lol" and walked off.

it took a lot of strength not to hit her in the head with my mail-box. but I persevered. and her skull remains Undented.

but now. I'm gonna buy this to hide that gouge... thats how i know...

Bushwhacker makes this. or at least sells it. thats where i found it first (thanks to the fine people here!) and TRDsparks has a better price than i was about to pay. so... THIS works for me much better! LOL!
