Default 47k on my stock Yokohamas - It's time!

I figure it is time for a new set as the hydroplaning has gotten really bad now, and winter will be setting in here in NY soon.

I have 2 tires in mind and wanted any feed back if you have used these tires or any others in rain/snow or dry roads.

- Goodyear Eagle F1 Ultra High Perf.

- Kumho Ecsta ASX Ultra High Perf.

- Nitto Neogen ZR

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

i've used Ecsta ASX and they are decent in the rain. Do you get snowed much? None of the tires listed will do great in accumulated snow.

I went with the Nittos for $310. Couldn't go wrong with the price!

We do not get a ton of snow here on Long Island, and I really do not go out with the car when it does even if it had snow tires on. Main concern I guess was the rain, as I almost had a bad accident going 55mph hitting a puddle the other day. Right then and there I knew it was time.

I should be getting these this Friday(quick shipping by discount tire!). I just hope the tire sensing mechanism is not thrown off by installing new tires. I know these things are usually not accurate, but I have to say the ones on my card worked perfect and alarmed me numerous times that my tires were low. I think if it weren't for that I would not check the tires as much, and I wouldn't have gotten over 45k on them.
