Default 2010 stock suspension

Hi I just purchased a 2010 xb and when driving I notice a faint chirping noise. Primaily when the road is bumpy. What could this be? Is it normal?

Never have heard that myself (2008 xB), though I installed a rear sway bar almost immediately after bringing the car home (hated the stock feel, leaned too much in turns for my taste). Still, if you determine the source, I'll certainly be interested to know. 2008 thru 2010 should all be the same in that regard.

hmmmm I also own a 2010, but to be honest I have never heard a chirping noise.... (have you checked for a birds nest?-lmao just kidding)

Hey its a 2010 you feel something is wrong best thing to do is take it back let them look at it for you...still under warranty so take advantage of it.

But for real I can not ever remember hearing a sound like that...keep us posted!

There could be a bird somewhere in your box.

I found a bat in my front bumper before. It was stuck in the driver's side faux vent:

Ultimate fail for that bat... getting sucked into a fake vent...

That is insane. But yea I thought it was my zippers on my jacket swaying back and forth but I still heard it when I was holding them down. It's kind of like a chirpy creeking sound.

If it's only when you hit bumps, then you need to try and locate it to a corner. Go to each corner and bounce it up & down. If you hear it, you at least know what corner it's in. Could be a loose end link or bushing. Lots of things make a noise like that. If you do take it to the dealer, make sure someone RIDES WITH YOU to DUPLICATE the noise, or you are just wasting time. They will not work to find warranty jobs. Count on it.

Hmmm. Interesting. It's basically all of the time due to road vibration.

Cant say i have ever heard the chirping noise. I am getting the smell of coolant but no leaks anywhere to be seen and its not heating up. Just hit 3500 miles ill just wait for the 5k complimentry service to let them know.

Default noise

I have the same issue with my 2010 Xb. Took it in to the dealership they said they fixed it but i still can hear the dam chirping/crackling noise. I believe it's coming from where the cowl meets the windshield. I think I'm going to try driving without the cowl.

Yeah, I think the hardest part for me was taking it out of there. Initially I pried on it but I didn't want to tear the sucker apart. So I basically had to reach like mad to pop the vent cover open and eventually got it out. Took about 30 minutes because I couldn't get enough leverage once I twisted my arm all the way down to the vent.

Default squeak

I have that exact same squeak, for me its coming from the drivers side B-pillar or around there, when I go over bumps.
