Default Gude Performance 2AZFE Cylinder Head Package: Scion tC / xB 2.4L

In the name of staying N/A, does anyone know anything about the Head Package in the title. Seems like a lot of work and big gamble...

$1800 is a little high but there are no Turbo kits out there for that amount and 45whp N/A is not bad. At minimum $3000.00 for starters. This set up seems to help you hold up better with a turbo kit if you decide to do one down the road..

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

@ creamyxb2 - thx for your experience and I'm not really sure about an upgrade of this kind although I heard of some head cam kits done on our engines. Trying to get the most out of all motor for the time being.

His website is actually kinda cheesy too, looks like he created it himself with frontpage,

Everyone says you want to have your motor rock solid in case you decide to up the PSi, what other motor upgrades are there out there besides this one if anyone knows?

Cool gude performance package scion tc

im using this package and im fully bolt on and tuned with the AEM f/ic by Performace Race Solutions in Sanford, Florida. manage to have 221 hp all motor with 93 octane. all this after redoing the head porting and valve clearance by using another head, since the pakage came with the valves too lose and there were too much material taken out of the head where the valve seats. if u r planing to buy that package make sure to check valve clearance and dont make the same mistake i did by just following the instruction he gave by paper. make urselfe completely sure. i have a 2006 scion tc.

Do you know if anyone has ported their tC head and discussed both the process and their results? Preferably with photos?

you should try to ask a machine shop near you and ask them if they have done the scion tc head for any other costumer. soon ill be puting dyno results 4 people to see proofs out of that head. but really is not that impressive since its very dificult to get so much power to an all motor build. i got a stock block and a fully build motor would make 215whp+ as far as i know, plus our cars are too heavy so u need to look for the lightest and strongest parts from the motor perpective to the body. ask why the li'l hondas are so fast @ all motor? most of them swaping the strongest motors they can get into the lightest body they can find. we have a little disadvantage there. thats why i will go turbo later on.....
