how to install injen intake
i got a sri and i want to run the cai and idk how to get the lower pipe on and idk what do i take off to install the pipe...if anyone is local and wants to help let me know i want it for summer time thanks
if you decide to do it yourself, you will need to lift up your car, remove the driver side wheel to make it easier, take out that fender liner, slip the 2nd pipe into the hole, and attatch it. there is a DIY of this in the TECH section. Was my first time doing it by myself and it came out pretty good
injen recommends that you remove the front bumper..not really needed. just jack the car up and take the front wheel off and then take the fender liner out and then you just stick the lower pipe up through the hole and connect it to the upper piece..ill worn yeah getting that piece up through the hole is sort of a PITA
just remove the bumper, its only maybe 10 bolts and 5 clips, 5 minutes and your done, then you have all the space you need.you dont even need help with it. theres a diy in the tech for taking the bumper off as well.
