I REALLY liked the xB until about late this summer. I took it as far as I had planned to and the way I envisioned it. The stability control p!sses the **** out of me when it shuts down my fun on a clover leaf. I like to come out of a corner full on the throttle with the vehicle sliding just a tad out of control. HELL YA!!!

This BMW has always been on my radar, but they've always been priced too high or too many miles. When I was 35, the insurance was $135/month, now that I'm in the 40 club, it's $47/month, $36 more per year than the xB.

Congrat's on the new ride Jason! I truly hope you enjoy it, especially since you've been wanting one for a while. After working at a dealership, and being exposed to all makes of cars and repairs/repair costs, I would never own a German car that is out of warranty. I hope it runs a good long time for you before its first break-down.

Sad to see you go, because I was intrigued by your progress on your xB.

Oh well, you got a better car now anyway.

Don't be a stranger around here.

This car doesn't scare me, besides, I know a BMW master tech that has 2 lifts at his house. Also, here in Minnesota, if it has under 75,000 miles, no matter what year the vehicle, the dealer must include a bumper-to-bumper 30 day/1,000 mile warranty. My friend is going spend a few hours looking it over the 2nd Saturday in January.

I'll bop in and out of here, everyone has been very helpful and friendly.

BTW, the sc430 wheels, springs, struts/shocks, & strut bar will go up for sale soon, or by spring.

Congrats on your new wheels ! I guess vehicles generally have quirks and the xB1/2 probably have plenty compared to a German sports sedan. What matters is that you're satisfied, and I gather you are !
