Default SOUND DEADENING THE INTERIOR.....XB ...help

i what to dynamat the floors, wheel wells, and everything else that might rattle when i install my stereo system....(BIG BASS!!!) i need help taking the interior apart. any1 have any pictures of urselves stripping down the inside and panells, seats, carpet???? it would help a lot!!!!

there has been lots of talk about this every since i mentioed it. IM doing this myself, and everything really does just pop right out.. this may sound stupid but what are the wheel wells lol.. And are they accessible once the carpet is out?

i dunno...i've seen another discussion about putting deadening material over the wheel wells...so i just posted it anyway....beats the hell out of me.

that's good to know that everything just pops right off....thanks.

I deadened everything in my box except for the roof. It's really alot easier than you think it would be(except the rear wheel wells).
Remove seats, then interior panels, then carpet. To remove the rear seats takes a bit more effort, but it's the only way to get to the rear wheel wells(which cause a good deal of your road noise). There is a write up somewhere on the boards about doing it(to install cathodes in the speaker locations).

just did an xB a while back, its pretty easy. just be gentle when pulling things off.

check the electrical/interior section under technical there should be a lot of posts there about the same thing
