2005 xB Exhaust Cam Sprocket Explained
I have done all the work to replace the valve head gasket and am putting my engine back together. With the head remounted, I am to the point of reinstalling the timing chain.
I am unsure which mark on the E Cam Sprocket is the timing mark. Can anyone explain the marks on this sprocket? I'll attach a pic of the sprocket for reference.
Thanks!

Still confused. Exhaust Cam sprocket has, moving clockwise from first mark referenced; E, *, *, l, l. As for locating pins, I cant find any type "pin" on sprocket and cam is installed so any pin on cam shaft is concealed. Should I remove cams to see the locating pin and timing mark before installing? The manual pics . . .I find no assurances for orienation ATDC 20 degrees.
