Default grounding for amp in rear of xb..

Now that my whole rear area, including the rear seats is stripped down to bare metal for dynamat, i want to find the best possible ground for my amplifier. I see on both of the rear panels there is factory grounds there being used. Would it be a good ground to use that. Before I took everything apart I was using one of the black mounting brackets that held the back rests into the floor.

i used one of those bolt locations that had D-ring bolted to it.. there were 1 on each side under the spare/storage location.... just sand the paint off real well and good to go....then again.. since im not using the sparetire/storage peices anymore and my box takes up that space and hides wires... but if ya keep the spare/storage spaces... dunno if that place will work for you

well whatever you use, make sure you strip the paint to bare metal(like kekai said)...this way you get a better ground

Kekai.. any pics of your box? I want to build my box for 2 12s in that rear area as well. Also, where did you mount your amps?

i think i found a good ground to use.. its an already drilled hole on the floor in the rear of the xb, that should be much better than what i had..
