I'm having trouble figuring out the 3M latch. Do I cut the green wire? How do I latch it? I've been trying to latch it the last 2hrs and i'm ready to give up! Someone who has randode cathode kit, please reply to this asap!!

well i finally figured it out.

Im quite slow with this car stuff. So, basically I had to CLAMP the red 3M Scotch Latch onto the green wire. Only if randode said clamp the green wire, i would have saved lots of time hehehe...no offense randode, your kit is totaly awesome, and I could have done it in less than an hr.

Hard part about the randode kit is harnessing the cathodes and routing the wires through the carpet. other than that, you're all seT!

sorry you were having a hard time with it. I am glad you figured it out. You could have also called me and I would have walked you through it. The fishing the harness under the carpet can be a bit tricky too. I have installed so many kits now, that I know exactly where to lift the carpet and push the wires to make it a little easier.

 

Yeha... imagine me being stuck on 3M Latch step for 1hr LOL....
