Question Is there a parts list??

I've been searching and reading to find out the best plugs, some say copper others go with platinum, and some swear by iridium.... This isn't for my xA, so I don't wanna put in one set and it not be best for MPG's.... In my saturn I lost 4-5 mpg's with platinum plugs vs copper, I was driving 4-500 miles a week and always keep track of fuel/miles.

Also is there a thread with a parts list of the common maintenance items? On other forums they have a parts list and inputs of what works for what, mpg vs hp/tq???

If it comes down to it I'll just do the trial and error and figure it out.

I haven't tried different plugs, I just use the regular NGK deal. No fancy iridium for me. Common maintenance items would be things like oil filters, air filters, oil, wiper blades, etc. No parts list needed, just go to your local parts store and they can look it up for you. I prefer Wix oil filters, also sold under NAPA Gold filters. Toyota filters are good as well. Oil is a whole can of worms I won't even open, but I will say that: the best oil is the one you change regularly.

I was hoping to find some experienced people that have been there and done that to get the best right off the bat.

O'well, I'll just flip a coin and go from there.

Thanks for the reply.

I asked in another thread, but I'll toss it here also.
Is there a longer/bigger oil filter that will fit properly? If no one knows, I'll figure it out myself.

The WIX 51394 is what is spec'd for our car, the 57145 is identical in diameter, but is taller, 3.402" as opposed to 2.977". Gasket dimensions are identical as well. Pulling the first 5 off the WIX part number should yield you the NAPA Gold filter number (NAPA branded by WIX). It crosses to many of the 2AZ-FE equipped Toyotas/Scions, but note that some parts departments will give you the smaller filter if you ask for a filter for those cars. Safest to ask for that specific part number.

Hope thats helpful.
Merry Christmas!

Very helpful, it is a pain to look up the dimensions and cross it.

I will never use a fram filter again, in my satty I was going 4-500 miles a week, after a week the oil was black, found on a saturn form the part number for a longer filter, that didn't do much. I tried a k&n filter, that would stay clean for up to 3-4k miles, then tried a 1516 Napa Gold and it stays looking good until the 5k miles I now change at.
