So I was thinking about retrofitting the lights on my '08 Scion, but have no idea where to start. I wanted to retrofit them like the picture below, but I don't know if I'll have any trouble seeing as I have the '08 lights. I'm pretty sure I've seen these lights somewhere on the forum on some long ago post, but I would greatly appreciate if people would point me in the right direction on steps I would need to take to convert my headlights to the beauties below.

If you wanted to retro a set of 05 / 07 lights, like the one in the pic you posted, you could always buy a set of those, and sell your 08s. People are always looking for 08s.
Here's a decent set of 06 for sale, for $100.

Buy those for $100, and you could sell yours for $200 all day if they are in good condition. Then you'd have an extra $100 to help pay for the retrofit.
