Default Why not post turbo pics?

First of all, I'm not trying to knock on ZPI as I might be a future customer of theirs.

I think SL members will stop the drama if somebody with the turbo kit will finally post pics. What's the big deal of showing the pictures? I don't buy this "competitors will copy them" bull$h!+. If that was the case then how come nobody has copied the TRD supercharger yet? I'm sure people will purchase them since NOTHING is available right now for average joe like me.

Posting pics of SL members' turbo kit IMO will at least make those people that pre-paid for the kit feel a lot better. They deserve to at least see some proof from other SL members that they will get something in return. After all, those people are pretty much funding R&D on the TC turbo. ZPI didn't have to go get a loan from the bank to do R&D for the kit and the parts to manufacture the pre-order kits. Most of these people pre-paid already and I believe that they deserve to at least see some pics of ZPI's kits on SL members such as TylerTC's since he claims he's had it for 2 or 3 weeks.

If I had the kit on my TC, I'll post pics for the community to see. I don't care if ZPI asked me not to. I paid for it and it's mine so I will do as I please.

if you understand designing a turbo kit you understand why he's not posting the pics.

if you had to put food on your table based on these turbo kits i'm sure you would be careful about it.

how about this: we stop posting this crap and wait until everyone gets the kits and see what happens. then it won't be filling the forum with speculation

It's not hard to fab a manifold, hang a turbo, run exhaust, and weld up intercooler pipes.

The secret is in the tuning, and you can't tell tuning from a dyno chart. A/F is standard, 12:1 is accepted. Timing and how you tune is the trick.

Amen to that When you get that part down .....powder coat, chrome and ship

Besides, NOW, they have shown video of their "mechanical" setup. All I'm asking is they put the accusations in their place, help their customers and have some of the sponsored TC's, post their pics with their results. Is that really to much to ask?

Edit:

Guess not. Sweet pics ZPI Haters can exit stage left

I do hope they post some better pics today with some lighting. They should want to show off the product, not hide it.

pictures of a fully installed turbo kit should kill 99.9% of the ____ talking.

I would post pics if I bought it. Once you pay them it is yours to do whatever with. Unless they gave it to me free I would post all kinds of pics. I would be showing it off.
