so yea i went to one dealer and did all the stuff to get the 06... i was supposed to be called today. turns out i had to call them up but they were saying within a few weeks... i said ok.. i called another dealer just to see if they had any... they did have 2 in stock
i told them ill be thre in 2 hours when i get out of work
i get there look over the car and im excited so i say lets do business. we are about halfway done with the paperwork when he goes and comes back.. ooh i cant apologize for another dealer but the car was just sold..... curses again i cant wi
he gave me the same 3 week deal thing and i gave him a deposit
so eventually ill get one.....

i guess i can say i kind of know how you feel. a couple weeks ago i went to a dealer and asked if they had 06s. At first they said no, but after speaking with manager they did have some coming. So after we put down deposit and they said they should have it within the week (last week). Then we called on Sunday and the dude said that we will have to wait another two weeks til inventory arrives.

So I am sitting here at my new house no where to go.

 

I waited for three weeks for an IIP. After that it was obvious the '06's were on the way and an IIP was not likely at all. So I went with the RS 1.0, which had just sat on their lot for those weeks. Funny thing was as I was doing the paperwork, others suddenly started wanting to buy it. Moral of the story: choose at least two colors you are comfortable buying and go with the first one available.

Same thing happened to me. My car was originally supposed to be here on the 11th of July when I ordered it. The dealer calls me back the day after I ordered it and tells me that, that car was already sold, and I would have to wait till the 25th of July instead... Oh well...

 

it's a hugh problem we have to wait for a long time to get a car we want. I really wanted to see a 06 FM TC before buying one, but I failed. I've never seen a FM tc either in this town or at the dealership. It's too horrible to buy a car without having seen it. Guess what can I do? I ordered 06 FM tc about 10 days ago and finally it came to the dealership. YES! I'm gonna pick up my baby today. Actually I'm a little afraid if I don't like the color; some ppl thinks NB is lovely, but I was really disappointed when I got a chance to look at one at the dealership.

 

my dealer just told me that there is 2 NB and 1 CSM comming into the port in NY on july 18th, and will be shipped to the dealership. BUT no one wants those colors and he will trade it for 3 FM because there are 5 orders ahead of me with FM, Now since i did like CSM, i think i'll pass the SW :T sorry SW, i told my dealer to get that CSM so im looking foward to get the tc 3rd or early 4th week of this month instead of end of the month to mid august, jumped from 5th place to first place on the list ^__^ im so excited

 

One of those NB's might be mine cause thats where mine's supposed to be coming from. Ordered mine two weeks ago and should have it by the end of next.

 

they all comes from there -_- for the east coast, but the NB was supposed to be sent to the dealer for the place i ordered mines. Those 2 will be traded for another color because everyone around my area did not order a NB so u might get it

It's happening everywhere.. these guys are trained to tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign the papers, then don't give a crp or follow through with the sale... mine told me he had one someone bailed on, I came in to discuss it and he sold it to someone else!! Then he tells me two weeks in order to get me to sign the papers, 2 weeks comes and goes, now he says another 2 weeks MINIMUM... Don't give me this "It happens all the time" boloney, everyone is being lied to about how long it takes these cars to come in, just so you'll order it, then they never call you back...

Oh, by the way... I'm waiting on one of those NB's too..

yea im waiting on mine too he told me it was in on tuesday (this past tuesday) and then i called tuesday and he goes oh its in our inventory its not here yet ...sometime this month, tomorrow is the 6th week ive waited, and i doubt ill hear from him ..ever then ill be really ____ed off



and im waiting on one of those nb's too ;)

 

You know what they told me? They told me they would call me each time the car got closer and closer, like at the different stages of its arrival. My car should be here next weekend or so and I havent heard a word. Still waiting on that VIN too. Oh well as long as I get it sometime nextweek I'll be happy.
