wow tanabe has an exhasutnow.. that medallion sound sound clean and deep.. It's the tanabe racing medalliong that is very loud

 

i was told by 2 tanabe dealers that this wouldn't be available til late dec/early jan? hmmm.

i think i'm gonna get the concept G.

 

someone post pics of this when they get this. i was planning on getting the HKS exhaust but if this looks better i'll get this one. i'm like the look of the concept g also

 

word, i already have the hks, but i always wanted something like this tanabe or apexi WS. someone definitely post pics when they get it installed.

it's fairly loud... but it's a deep clean tone.

 

what's the diffrence between cat and axle-back?
advantages? disadvantages?

 

Axle back = Replaces the exhaust piping from the axle to the rear bumper.

Cat back = Replaces the entire exhaust piping from the cat converter to the rear bumper

Advantage: Cat-back would give you a better exhaust flow over an axle-back. I would only get an axle back if I wanted to change the muffler and not have to cut/weld my stock exhaust. But from the looks of it, I think I can get 2 custom catback exhausts (w/ flanges) done at my local muffler shop for the price of one axle back.

well i have th concept g....see my profile for pics.....you'll love the tone of this exhaust paired with a cai.....super easy to install the concept g, and you'll only get noticed by the "right people"....and not too much attention from the cops.....on my old 97 prelude, i had the tanabe super medallion racing, which is easily a 98db exhaust....the new ones are pretty tame, but still awesome sounding....
