i got a 12" eclipse sw8112dvc and hifonics brutus 1000w amp almost a year ago. last night i didnt turn down my bass controller when i turned off the car and this morning when i turned on my car it was loud so i turned it down. when i turned the bass down it went down but came back up and then down and then all of a sudden there was no bass from the sub at all!

what could this be?!?!?!? i know hifonics isnt the best but its all i could afford at the time.

any help is appreciated.
