Slipping out of 5th gear, help?!

Slipping out of 5th gear, help?!
Randomly, after a while of driving, the gear shifter will fully just slip out of fifth gear and I have to put it back in, but usually when it decides to pop out it will keep popping out even if I put it back in, so I have to hold it there... this just started happening (it's really cold here)... what's wrong?
