Nevada Smog laws vs California Smog laws..
What's the difference between the two. Does anyone know any resources to find this out?
If I buy a car in Nevada what do I have to do when I try to register it in Cali?

I think CA has the most strict emissions laws in the country 
if you look at the CAI on scion.com build a car it says that in CA it is only legal "For off road use"
not that anyone here uses their cars w/ CAI on public roads
