Is that the one that needs modification to fit xB? If it's not, I'm interested. Are you located in the bay area?

zeroflamegt 11-04-2003, 07:57 PM there straight bolt on stock mounts and i can do shipping as well
its $30 more for shipping anywhere in cali
showpaojoe 11-04-2003, 08:11 PM Don't just say straight bolt on. It's not that easy. You gotta remove the bumper to install them. Then, the turning signal bulb that comes with it, clear-needs to be amber, doesn't even fit the hole so you need to shave the insert down which gets all the shavings inside the lens if your not careful. Then you have to re-wire the entire thing to accomodate the led bar and extra wire by tapping into the original wires. It took me over an hour just for some headlights to work properly. I don't understand why the scion had to be like that.
zeroflamegt 11-04-2003, 08:23 PM true but the the question was do u have to mod 2 fit
showpaojoe 11-04-2003, 08:27 PM True, I bet he meant mod in the sense that it works perfectly with the same wiries/lights, but I don't want to have him spend cash and not be able to wire it. Then he goes to toyota were they charge $80 to wire it. I already put em on you cheapscates, it took 30 minutes to wire properly and nobody makes $80 for 30 minutes work, maybe if they installed it also. Actually tho, the grill didn't line back up at first and the headlight needed a little nudging to line up with bolts but no biggie.
showpaojoe 11-04-2003, 08:33 PM Hopefully you have installed and wired them up yourself because he'll most likely call you for help if somethings not right. I'm just saying cuz people call me up because the guy they get it from don't give em instructions in english and the ones in the box are japanese. Just jot down the wiring diagram on a napkin and keep it handy.

I remember there is another kind that require lots of mod, wire and stuffs, in order for it to fit.
showpaojoe 11-04-2003, 08:57 PM Those are the only style right now available in the US unless someone wants to spend major cash on those other 2 and import them. It's just the led lighting thats different, no biggie. Go down to autozone and spend $3 on 6 connectors and thats all u need
eric_m 11-04-2003, 09:38 PM someone could make some good money installing these for people. randode racing? or do i have to do it. :) is $40 too much to install them and wire them all up?
oh, how are the lights? are they as bright as stock? how is the beam pattern? i've seen some pretty bad aftermarket projectors.
showpaojoe 11-04-2003, 09:53 PM They look nice. I had them on at the meet and everyone seemed to like the brightness, they are brighter than stock but I'm still gunna go down to island motorsports and get H1 hyper whites. I've sold/installed 4 already but soon I might get the itchicoh ones. I'm still trying to get the greenbean the kg works ones but it's almost impossible to find someone who can help me out. Ryan really wants those.
