Will 9004 headlight fit the xB 9003 headlight bulbs???

Will 9004 headlight fit the xB 9003 headlight bulbs???
Someone on the site here says 9004 fitted the headlight for xB but other threads said the 9003 were the correct one, so what I did was order some 9004 for the headlights, so I got the wrong one, I don't want them to go to waste so could I make the 9004 bulb fit the xb headlight
