Quick Shocks n Struts Question
Just wondering...I never replaced struts n shocks...is it better to get the TRD ones? Or Tein Basic Dampers? n i would have to get it tuned the alignment also...so yea...hit me up
The Tein Basics are coilovers. They're essentially struts/springs together. If you already have new springs, you'd just want the TRD. Koni also makes a set of shocks/struts for the tC, but I've heard the front are a PITA to install.
And the alignment depends on how low you go. But you might want to anyways...

Teins are coilovers and they are much stiffer you will feel every little bump
TRD are less harsh. Depending on your preference. I had both sets
TRD was good for everyday driving with extra handling over stock.
I switched over to Tein SSP with EDFC since I'm doing autoX now.
