Default Rattling xb

My XB has this annoying I mean it rattling or buzz sound coming from somewhere by the pass side tweeter at first thought it was feedback but it does it with no power on Ie shut the car off on the highway and it still did it and i tightened the bolts holding the speaker in anybody else had the prob or any solutions so I dont have to go back to the dealer.

All input appreciated

hmm.. rattling near the front side.... i believe i've heard of an issue actually from outside on the wiper cowl... if you look at the black cover outside.. you'll see slots in the plastic that has wire mesh under it... i have read on SL that in some cases the wire mesh will vibrate agaisnt the wiper cowl and cause a rattling sound.... they fixed it by using a dab or 2 of black silicon sealent or something similar... also a temp fix would be to see if a zip tie or 2 will fix it.... if so.. then you can find a more permanent fix....

another comon place for ratteling if it seems to be from the hood is the bump stops under the hood are too low.. a few twists one way or the other will fix that too... usually that rattle occurs only when ideling at a stop while in gear..

boy can ya tell i'm busy at work?? lol... only 7more hours to go

sorry I just have so many knocks, rattle and dings I forget to pay attention some days.

Although I 'll suggest the same thing Kekai did. sounds pretty familiar.

I remember the rattles in my xB. Drove me nuts for awhile and then I got used to it and accepted that it would rattle no matter what I did........

Just glad my tC isnt the same though I do get a rattle here or there from time to time.

Face it, rattles are the mainstay of an economy car......

I have a rattle in my xB also by the drivers door front somewhere. No its not a tin can or change.I just turn the radio up so I dont hear it.It does suck seeing that its only one week old.
