Engine temperature - blue light and the A/C?
I know what the blue light is for but has anyone experienced the blue light keeping the A/C from kicking on (A/C compressor that is)? I live in Phoenix AZ and it's warm here most of the year. Right now, I leave my XB outside in the sun, 90 degrees all day long. After work, I go out and it takes about 3 minutes for that blue light to go out and the A/C to start pumping out cold air. Is this normal? I just got this car last year and it wasn't very hot when I got it so I have not seen this until now? Please help before I go to the dealer and they laugh at me!
don't know of anything that would stop the AC from pumping right away.
i know the AC is a lil bit weak for my taste (and others have noted it too)
might want to have the AC checked out by a good AC person. they can boost it up a bit (add more freon) and that seems to help some.
