Default New sound sytem... is this possible?

I am eventually going to upgrade the sound system in my '07 tC. I have the iPod upgraded head unit, which I like a lot. Is it possible to keep that head unit, but get a new amp to power some new component speakers? I also want to get another amp to power a 10" sub. I'm sure I will need some extra accessories to make it work since the head unit doesn't have sub outs. I just need to know if all of this is possible or will I definitely have to get a new head unit? Thanks!

Line out converter (LOC). I reccommend the eBay SubPlug sold buy those NorCal Scion guys. Good quality, no splicing, easy 5 minute installation.

Now that will allow me to connect a subwoofer up to the stock head unit. What about using another amp to power the component speakers I'm going to install?

Get the 4 channel version. Same thing. It's what I used. Check out the site, you'll find what you need.

I've found 3 different products that I think do the same thing, but I'm not sure. Can someone let me know which of these is the best or if they are actually used for the exact same thing? Thanks!

Yes, they all do the same thing. The crutchfield one and the eDesign ones require splicing your factory wires. If you know what you're doing, get the eDesign LOC. It's the cheapest. If you're not comfortable with that, get the NorCal Scion LOC. It's plug 'n' play.

Default Problem with audio! Please Help!!

My brand new Jensen VM9021TS does not work and i cannot find anything about how to fix it. I would like to see the wiring of wires on other peoples installation of their head unit. The problem i am finding is there is a single beep when i press the power button. When i try to reset it and it gives me two beeps like it doesn't know what to do. The wiring apeares to be good, any information would be greatly apreciated and so would your pics. Thanks all.
