Gas light hits EMPTY..how many miles do i have left?

 

i'm guessing about 50 to 60 more miles.

 

ive heard about 40-50. I never ran out of gas but that sounds about right

 

last fill up when the light came on i filled up about 50 miles later. that's about as much as i'd do though, when the light comes on, just fill up the first chance you get.

 

You have 2 gallons of gas left.
EPA says you can get anywhere between 44 miles and 60 miles.

 

Isn't it true though we have a 14.5 gallon tank?? When I let it go to the light comes on, it is around 11-11.5 to fill up. It looks sooo low though when the light comes on, I wouldn't want to chance it very long.

 

50-60 miles on the highway or street?? i live in orange county so...i dont think that much..

 

if you are asking for the absolute miles left there are too many variables to answer that question. a better question is "how much fuel is in the tank when the toyota engineers decided to warn me to refuel?". approximately 2 gallons. so this has really been asked and answered. i would say at around 30 miles i'd really be looking to fill up asap.

 

When my light came on yesterday, I filled it up and had 2.5 gallons left.

But...Y would u wanna chance it trying to see how long it will go be4 u run out of gas. Get it refilled as soon as that light goes on...better yet, be4 it comes on. Ur gonna jack up the car if u push it to those kinda limits

 

i can't take the chance of running my tank that low with the steep hills that we have here in SF.....i might not make it to the top...haha

 

everytime i fill up it's pretty much at the bottom...just about everytime it's over 13 gallons

 

Low gas light comes on at about 12.x gallons used... so basically you have two gallons left

get some gas ASAP... don't be pumping the fuel near the bottomm

 

^^ i think that mostly goes for older cars and to those who use them cheap a$$ ghetto gas stations...
