okay i was playing halo2 and i was on the net like alwayz lol and some1 rings my door bell and its this lady with his son and she offers me to sell my car to her for $16000 cash i dont know what to do i only have about 4000 buck to pay it off and i spend like to years fixing it up so much hard work NEED HELP FAST what should i do

maybe you could just swap your stock pieces back on and trade it in?

if your dad wants you to trade it in, have him *help* you with the new purchase, aka he makes the downpayment ;)

 

it has 30,000 miles the alots of mods the kid was talking to me wat i did and told me if he could test it out and my dad said yes and i took the keys away and i told him no sorry (my dad got me so ____ off damn if i wasnt home Maybe my dad would of sell it )(my dad try to do every thing he can to sell my car ya right like im going to let him (i should crash his car and lets see if he like it lol

 

why would you sell your car that you have already modded and buy the same thing again??? tell your dad that Kevin said thats a big waste of money. if he gives you any more trouble tell him to pm me, i will take care of him

this person means business...i would do it... but id also try to make a compromise...
id bump it to 16500, and if u have rims, no rims, but the other stuff must go... such as intake header, exhaust etc...u can get that later on ur new 06.... and let me tell u....cash is golden...i dont think uv ever seen 16000 dollars in cash... thats a lot of money in cash.... i say DO IT!!

I'd just keep it. Sure, the car will be brand new, but you'll have to dump in even more money to get it back to where you are now. That is like buying a canvas and getting it halfway painted, sell it, and then buy another blank canvas and paint it the same way.

A new tC only costs a little more than $16000! Why not buy a new one? By the sounds of it, the family is very well off...why would they want a "USED" vehicle. I'm sure the M5 didn't have 30000 miles on it when they bought it.

 

Add up everything you've spent on the car, figure out how much time you've spent modding it, figure a decent labor rate of $45/hour, then give her that figure. Tell her not a penny less and justify it with all of this. Otherwise, they can head down to the Scion dealership, buy one for themselves, and let their little brat mod it himself and pray that he doesn't screw it up.
