Default Cams for Scions!

Hey guys. How are you all today!

Well for those of you that dont know my name is Ryan and I work for Stripper Motorsports, in Michigan.

I like you am a Scion owner myself, owning a BSP 06 tC and SR 06 xA.

My tC is on its way to being parts and pieces because I plan to do an engine rebuild, along with Stripper Motorsports doing a rebuild on a freinds xA. While we have these engines apart we are have custom Cams made for them.

I am hear to see who would be interested in a cam for your tC, xA, or xB.

We are looking to just gather interest as of now and then probably in a month or so get something started if we have enough interest.

Currently we have the worlds fastest Trailblazer SS, the 5th fastest Syclone which is now being rebuilt and will be the fastest, and working on the Scion tC and xA to make the fastest, and lastly a 95 Eagle Talon which we plan to make the fastest!

We like to go fast !!

SO anywho, please post up wat you think about these cams and if you would be interested.

thanks
Ryan

kinda vague about the cams... any real details that dont mention other cars, or how they are the fastest?

The cams are all going to be special order / custom grinds. Specs of the cam will be determined for the engine application that they are going to fit. Basically you tell us what you have done to the car and engine and we will spec a cam to accordingly fit your application. Once we get some real world testing in our cars we will start to offer shelf cams that can be used in common set ups for the cars that they fit. Hope that clear things up a little for you.

As for the fore mentioned trucks, the trailblazer SS has gone 12.12 in the quarter with only a cam swap, tuning and nitrous. The Syclone has been all over the mid 10's at well over 135mph in the quater and has a stock long block, cam, PT61 turbo and twin intercoolers, along with lot's of tuning. It is currently the 5th fastest Sy in the country, soon to move up on that list.

Back on topic, post up anyother questions that you might have for the cams.

How about making the cams, testing the cams, testing the cams some more, figuring out what the cams you make are capable of, and THEN trying to sell these well tested cams on the website. Sounds like you are looking for a R&D guinea pig.......Anyone can grind *****-nilly on a cam, but there are a select few who actually know how to do it right.

Yeah, crazy hesitant about this project...

...good luck and hopefully in a year I can put some cams in my 1.5 cause it better take at least that long to do this right.

actually, they are just guauging intrest to see if it will be worth producing more than one. they have a test vehicle, mine. these guys know what they are doing. there not some kids who think they can build a motor. i wouldnt let them touch my car if i wasnt 100% confident in their abilities. we will be R&D'ing all next summer

Well, common sense would dictate that if they were able to come up with a cam that truly increases performance without sacrificing torque and that will live( quite a feat if they actually can), plenty of people would surely be interested. Hell, I'd be interested myself. Too many companies jump the gun with sales before R&D is done. Show up with a well-tested, finished product that actually performs as advertised and people will beat a path to your door. Business 101....................

As stated in our previous post "Once we get some real world testing in our cars we will start to offer shelf cams that can be used in common set ups for the cars that they fit. Hope that clear things up a little for you. "
Not trying to sell these at this time, no mention of sales on cams. Just trying to see that if we make one and have good success with it if we should get enough cores made to do a lot of cams or not.

We wouldn't release any cams till they have had a good amount of R&D done to them.
