Here's the low down on New York. We got to our Sheritan hotel at 4pm in Manhattan. We went to the pepsi banquet for dinner at 7PM and went and walked Broadway and pretty much the whole city from 8pm until 3am. Woke up at noon, and walked the city again until 4pm. went to the concert at 7pm which was Mary J. Blidge, Pharrell, and Lupe Fiasco. I was awesome. It started raining durning the concert but the show went on. The concert was under the Brooklyn Bridge. Got back to the motel around midnight, and went walking the city again until 4am. Got up at 11am checked out the motel at noon and walked around until 330pm. We did alot of walking and checking out all the little shops and the 3 story toys r us were I bought a scion dub city toy. the 3 story Virgin record store. and anything and everything you can think of. Only thing we didnt do is go to ground zero, or to the statue of liberty. I will hopefully be able to post some pics soon. Great time really would like to go again.

Sweet!! Glad you had a good time.
Just walking around looking at things and taking pics is what I like to do when I travel, too. That's almost better than seeing some of the "sights"

Damn, wish I knew you were headin out there, would have pointed out a few good places to eat and check out. And as for the Scions in NYC, not many people really wanna drive the car they actually like in NYC, especially if it's got a custom paint job...driving there is just like asking to get bumped into.

NYC is an awesome place. I started going into the city when I was 13. When you live a 30 minute train and another 15 minute ferry ride away, it is easy to learn how to get there. We used to tell our parents we were going to the park or to someones house and then would go into the city for the day.
Ground Zero is crazy. It is hard to put it into perspective if you never saw what it was like before, but with all the goes on around ground zero now, it helps bring it all together.
Did you hit up any of the delis on Broadway? There is one on 42nd and Broadway, but the name is lost in my large empty melon of a brain. Some of the best sandwiches ever though. Did you try to see the Letterman show? I have seen a few episodes being filmed and that is a fun thing to do. I agree with what you guys did though, you probably got the best experience possible in NY by just walking the streets. The city is so large that it is easy to miss things that are right around the corner, great idea to just walk around.
Glad you guys had a good time and oh dear lord, that concert.....sounds like it was amazing. Pharrell and Mary J. Blige, that would be fun!!!!!

I hit a couple delis, and I saw the letterman building. I was gonna try and get tickets but they dont film on friday or saturday. I bought a couple cd's from some guys on the street. But I loved the Toys R Us store. only had two scion toys though but I bought one. I cant wait to go back.
