tiny tiny paint spatter on windshield driving me NUTS
did some errands the other day, parked next to a bldg where they were re-painting the side of it...
couple hours later I walk out I see a light sprinkling of paint on my windshield...
arrrrrrrgh
anyone know any good ways to take this stuff off...no matter how hard i try to use these so-called commercial strength glass cleaners, there's still some traces of it, especially when the sun shines directly through it, then its VERY noticeable
any help would be much appreciated...

FYI that mist of paint is probably all over your cars paint as well. Go to yout local auto parts store(autozone, pep boys) and pick up a clay bar kit. That will do quick work of that overspray. You probaby can't see it, and it will definitly not wash off, just wipe your hand accross your paint, you will feel it.
For the windshild, like everyone else said, use a razor, but make sure to use either glass cleaner, or car detailer so it won't scratch the glass.

Also, there is a product called glass scrub I think by rainX. comes in a black bottle and works like a charm. I used it on my XB and got water spots of the mirro that were at least a year old. works perfect, just be careful with it around paint.

I oversprayed my own car a couple weeks ago. Made me sick. Use the clay bar. If it is on your whole car, and it probably is, you will need to do a very small portion at a time. Don't use the lubricant sparingly, spray it on heavy. You may have to do some areas twice. Afterwards use a liquid polish and an orbital buffer. I still found a little place I missed later. As you look at it in different light you will see places you had not seen before.
During this I found that the cleaner/polish made for glass top stoves is excellent on windshields for removing water spots. Try a small corner before you do the whole glass.
