Default Problem with HVAC LED conversion

So I started my HVAC conversion on my 2007 tC, (bored on a Saturday night... without beer) I got it all done, with the exception of two lights. The LEDs that would light up the "Circulation Active" and "A/C Active" don't work. The strange part is, these are just swap outs (no need to cut traces, or connect resisters.. directly to them at least) so I don't know what could have gone wrong.

I did notice something however, when I hold down the bottom most button for the LED for the button above it will glow ever ever so slightly. If anyone has any advice, I could use some. I have tested both LED's, and gone as far as swaping them back to the stock ones... to no avail.

I've stolen a picture I found somewhere around here, and highlighted the LEDs that don't light up.

D500 and D501

Thanks in advance,

even though they directly swap out, for the higher voltage leds.. they don't tend to light up as bright as the others anyway.. and they don't really need to.

the picture you shown above looks like one of icenine's swaps before he figured out to rewire the right side (as there's the wire grabbing power from the left...) (yeah.. old pic..) but lol.. anyway...

hmm... for hte a/c i know that won't light up unless the fans are actually operating

but what you described was when you press the recirc button, the a/c indicator light is really, really dim?? for that.. i'm not sure..

can you take pics of your hvac..?

I ended up fixing it this morning.

Lesson Learned:
When one is using an Xacto Knife avoid dust. Sneezing while cutting traces at 11 at night, is a bad idea.

I ended up nicking the three traces that run parallel with the clock. In the above picture, they are the traces that have the "D300" and "D301" printed on top of them. A little scraping, solder and some patience (of course, they had to be the smallest traces on the board) and all is well.
